Soft or rotted boards, loose railings, stair rebuilds, joist sistering, pressure washing and sealing.
Drywall & paint
Hole and crack patching, water-damage repair, texture matching, interior and exterior painting, trim caulk.
Doors, windows & trim
Sticking doors, storm doors, locksets, weatherstripping, window screens, baseboard and casing replacement.
Bathroom & kitchen updates
Faucets, vanities, toilets, tile repair and regrout, backsplash, exhaust fans, shelving and hardware swaps.
Siding, soffit & exterior
Siding repair, fascia and soffit, gutter cleaning and reattachment, exterior rot repair, shutters.
Property maintenance
Rental turnover punch lists, make-ready repairs, recurring upkeep for small commercial and church properties.
Fixtures & hardware
Ceiling fans, light fixtures, TV and shelf mounting, closet systems, grab bars, smoke detectors.
Fences, gates & outbuildings
Fence post and picket repair, gate hardware, shed door and ramp repair, metal building touch-ups.
Jobs that need a licensed general contractor or a licensed electrician or plumber under North Carolina law get referred out, not guessed at.
How a job goes
Three steps, in this order, every time. The written estimate comes before any work starts.
Call or text with the problem
A photo helps. Kyle will tell you on the spot whether it’s a job he takes on and roughly when he can look at it.
Walkthrough and written estimate
He comes out, measures, and sends a written estimate with the scope, materials and price. No surprises added later.
Work done, site cleaned up
Work happens on the scheduled day. Tools packed, debris hauled, and you walk the finished job before it’s called done.
Service area
Based in Asheboro. Regular service across Randolph County and into the surrounding counties. Farther out is fine for larger jobs; ask.

Kyle Van Vliet
Kyle started KV Solutions in 2023 after years of hands-on trade and machining work around Randolph County. He’s the one who answers the phone, gives the estimate and does the job, so what you’re promised is what gets built.
He grew up here, went to Southwestern Randolph and Randolph Community College, and works the same towns he’s always lived in.
